What Are Our Piping Solutions

At Enmetra Industries, our piping solutions represent one of the most comprehensive industrial pipe supply ranges available from a single source in India. We supply seamless pipes, ERW (Electric Resistance Welded) pipes, EFW (Electric Fusion Welded) pipes, LSAW (Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welded) pipes, and SSAW (Spiral Submerged Arc Welded) pipes across four primary materials of construction — Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex and Super Duplex Stainless Steel, and Copper-Nickel alloys — to procurement teams, project contractors, and engineering companies worldwide.

What distinguishes Enmetra from a conventional pipe trader is the depth of technical knowledge embedded in our supply process. Our founder spent over twelve years working as a procurement and sourcing professional inside India's leading chemical and process manufacturing companies. That experience means every pipe we supply is specified correctly for the service condition, documented completely to the purchase order requirements, and delivered with the full material traceability that project quality plans demand. We understand what a QAP (Quality Assurance Plan) approval requires, what a TPI (Third-Party Inspector) looks for on the mill floor, and what an expeditor needs to close a materials delivery against a project schedule — because we have done each of those things ourselves.

"A pipe is not just a product — it is a pressure-containing component that must perform reliably for the life of a plant. Every grade, every heat number, every test certificate we supply reflects that responsibility."

— Bipin Mayani, Founder · Enmetra Industries

Our piping range covers nominal bore sizes from NB ½″ through to NB 60″, with wall thicknesses from Schedule 10 to XXS across standard and metric dimensions. Lengths are available in Single Random Length (SRL 4–7 m), Double Random Length (DRL 11–13 m), and fixed cut lengths to project-specific requirements. We supply to all major international export standards — including ASTM, ASME, API 5L, DIN, EN, and BS — and deliver with EN 10204 3.1 or 3.2 material test certificates as standard on every order.

Materials of Construction

The correct material selection is the single most critical decision in any piping system design. The wrong material leads to premature corrosion, unexpected failure, unplanned shutdown, and substantial replacement cost. Our role at Enmetra is not only to supply the specified material but, where the procurement team or project engineer requires it, to confirm that the selected material is appropriate for the stated service condition — fluid, temperature, pressure, and corrosive environment.

Carbon steel seamless and welded pipes remain the backbone of industrial piping globally — economical, widely available, and capable of handling high-pressure and high-temperature hydrocarbon, steam, and utility service. Our carbon steel pipe range covers ASTM A106 Gr.B and Gr.C for high-temperature service, ASTM A53 for standard pressure applications, and the full API 5L grade range from Grade B through X80 in both PSL1 and PSL2 quality levels for oil and gas transmission pipelines. For low-temperature service where standard carbon steel becomes brittle below −29°C, we supply A333 Grade 6, rated to −46°C. For elevated temperature alloy service in power and refinery applications, P11, P22, P91, and P92 chrome-molybdenum alloy grades are available with full post-weld heat treatment and hardness documentation.

Stainless steel pipes are specified wherever corrosion resistance, cleanliness, or cryogenic capability is required beyond the capability of carbon steel. Our stainless steel range is manufactured to ASTM A312 for seamless and welded austenitic grades, covering the most commonly specified grades — TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L, TP321, TP347, TP310S, and 904L. Each grade is supplied in solution annealed and pickled condition as standard. The low-carbon L grades (304L and 316L) are preferred for applications involving welding without post-weld heat treatment, as the reduced carbon content prevents sensitisation and intergranular corrosion — a distinction that matters significantly in pharmaceutical, food processing, and corrosive chemical service.

Duplex and Super Duplex stainless steel pipes are specified for the most demanding corrosive environments where standard austenitic stainless steels are inadequate. The dual austenite-ferrite microstructure of grades such as UNS S31803 (2205 Duplex) and UNS S32750 (SAF 2507 Super Duplex) delivers approximately twice the yield strength of standard austenitic SS, combined with superior resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking — the most common failure mode in stainless steel piping in offshore, marine desalination, and chloride-containing chemical service. All duplex pipes are supplied solution annealed, water quenched, and pickled, with mandatory ferrite number testing, PMI (Positive Material Identification), and IGC (Intergranular Corrosion) testing where specified.

Pipe Fittings — Complete Range

A piping system is only as reliable as the weakest connection within it. For this reason, Enmetra always offers fittings as an integral part of our piping supply rather than as an afterthought. Our complete butt weld, socket weld, and threaded fitting range is specified, documented, and certified to the same standards as the pipe itself, ensuring seamless material traceability and consistent mechanical properties throughout the assembled system.

Our butt weld fittings cover every standard type — elbows (45° and 90° in both Long Radius LR = 1.5D and Short Radius SR = 1.0D), concentric and eccentric reducers, equal and reducing tees, end caps, crosses, stub ends, and unions — in nominal bore sizes from ½″ to 48″, manufactured to ASME B16.9 for standard butt weld fittings and MSS SP-43 for thin-wall stainless steel and duplex fittings. The corresponding European standards DIN 2605 through 2617 and EN 10253-1, 2, and 4 are available for export to Germany and the broader European market.

For small-bore high-pressure connections, our socket weld and threaded forged fittings cover sizes from ½″ to 4″ in pressure classes 3000#, 6000#, and 9000# per ASME B16.11. Thread forms available include NPT (National Pipe Taper) per ASME B1.20.1, BSPT, and BSPP for different export market requirements. Branch connection fittings (Olets) — Weldolets, Sockolets, Threadolets, Elbolets, and Sweepolets per MSS SP-97 — provide integrally reinforced branch connections that eliminate the need for separate reinforcing pads on run pipe.

Carbon steel fittings are supplied to ASTM A234 WPB for standard service and WPHY grades for high-yield API line pipe service. Stainless steel butt weld fittings are supplied to ASTM A403 covering grades WP304/304L, WP316/316L, WP321, and WP347. Duplex and Super Duplex fittings are supplied to ASTM A815 covering UNS S31803 and S32750. Forged fittings in stainless and alloy grades are supplied to ASTM A182.

Flanges — All Types & Ratings

Flanges form the detachable joints in any piping system — the points at which equipment is connected, maintenance access is provided, and pressure boundaries are sealed. Getting the flange specification right — type, facing, pressure class, material, and bolt pattern — is critical to system integrity. Enmetra supplies the complete range of industrial flanges from NB ½″ to NB 60″, in pressure classes from Class 150 through Class 2500 per ASME B16.5, and in Series A and B ratings from 26″ to 60″ per ASME B16.47.

Our flange range covers all standard types — Weld Neck (WN) for the most demanding high-pressure and cyclic service where stress transfer from flange to pipe wall is critical; Slip-On (SO) for moderate-pressure non-cyclic service; Blind flanges for system isolation and inspection access; Socket Weld (SW) and Threaded (THD) for small-bore connections; Lap Joint (LJ) for applications requiring bolt-hole rotation or dissimilar material stub end joints; Orifice flanges per ASME B16.36 for differential pressure flow measurement; and Spectacle Blinds and Spades per ASME B16.48 and API 590 for positive process isolation.

Flange face types available include Raised Face (RF), Flat Face (FF), Ring Type Joint (RTJ) in Oval, Octagonal, BX, and RX profiles, Tongue & Groove (T&G), and Male & Female (M&F). All flanges are forged and supplied to the relevant ASTM material specification — A105 for carbon steel, A350 LF2 for low-temperature carbon steel, A182 F304/316/321/347 for stainless steel, and A182 F51/F53/F55 for duplex and super duplex grades. The corresponding European standards DIN 2631–2638 and EN 1092-1 are available for EU-destined supply.

Applications & Industry Sectors

Enmetra's piping solutions are exported to procurement teams and project companies operating across the full spectrum of heavy industry. In the oil and gas sector, our API 5L line pipe in grades X42 through X80 is supplied for onshore and offshore transmission pipelines, with PSL2 qualification, TMCP (Thermo-Mechanically Controlled Process) delivery condition, and Charpy impact testing at sub-zero temperatures where specified. In refineries and petrochemical plants, our carbon steel A106/A53 seamless pipes, duplex stainless steel pipes, and high-temperature alloy grades (P11, P22, P91) serve the full range of process service conditions from ambient utility lines to hydrogen high-temperature service.

In the chemical processing industry, stainless steel grades TP304L and TP316L are the standard choice for acid and alkali service at moderate temperatures, while Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 are specified where chloride-containing streams create stress corrosion cracking risk in standard austenitic SS. For the most aggressive acid environments — hydrofluoric acid, concentrated sulphuric acid, and chlorine service — our piping solutions are complemented by the PTFE and PFA lined valve range, creating a complete corrosion-resistant flow control system from a single supplier.

The power generation sector relies on our A335 P91 chrome-molybdenum alloy pipes for main steam and hot reheat lines in supercritical coal and gas plants, where operating temperatures above 550°C demand creep-resistant alloy steel rather than standard carbon grades. In water treatment and desalination plants, our stainless and copper-nickel pipe ranges serve seawater intake, RO feed, brine discharge, and chemical dosing applications. For marine and offshore platforms, our 90/10 and 70/30 copper-nickel seamless pipes provide the corrosion resistance, biofouling resistance, and thermal conductivity required for seawater cooling and heat exchanger applications.

Documentation & Quality Standards

In industrial piping procurement, the product and its documentation are inseparable. A pipe without a complete material test certificate, hydrostatic test report, and dimensional inspection record is not a deliverable — it is a liability. At Enmetra Industries, this principle is built into our supply process from the moment an order is placed, not added at the despatch stage as an afterthought.

Every pipe, fitting, and flange we supply is accompanied by EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates as standard, with EN 10204 3.2 (third-party validated) available on request. These certificates provide full traceability of chemical composition, mechanical test results (tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, Charpy impact where applicable), heat number, and lot number for every product in the shipment. For alloy and stainless steel grades, PMI (Positive Material Identification) by XRF analysis is conducted at the mill or at our inspection facility to verify that the material supplied matches the specified grade — preventing the material mix-up incidents that have caused serious failures in industrial plants.

Non-destructive testing is co-ordinated and documented for every applicable product: hydrostatic testing per ASTM material standards and ASME B31.3, ultrasonic testing (UT) of weld seams on ERW and LSAW pipes per ASTM E213 and API 5L Annex E, radiographic testing (RT) of weld seams on EFW and LSAW pipes, magnetic particle testing (MT) for ferritic materials, and liquid penetrant testing (PT) for austenitic and non-magnetic grades. Third-party inspection by SGS, TÜV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's, or RINA is arranged on request, with factory acceptance test (FAT) witnessed inspection available for critical or large-volume orders.

Why Choose Us

Why Procurement Teams Choose Enmetra

For industrial piping procurement, the supplier's technical credibility and documentation capability matter as much as the product itself.

01
Specification Accuracy
Every grade, standard, and dimensional reference on our quotations and certificates is verified against the current edition of the applicable standard — not estimated or approximated. ASTM A106 Gr.B means exactly that, not a "similar" grade or an unverified equivalent.
02
Complete Documentation
EN 10204 3.1/3.2 MTCs, hydrostatic test reports, NDT reports, PMI, dimensional inspection, and packing lists — supplied proactively with every shipment. No chasing for documents after delivery. No project hold-ups waiting for paperwork.
03
TPI-Ready Supply
We prepare products for third-party inspection — not react to it. Our founder co-ordinated dozens of FAT and mill inspection cycles on major capital projects. We know what SGS, TÜV, BV, and Lloyd's inspectors check, and we ensure it is done correctly before they arrive.
04
Global Standard Matching
ASTM/API for USA and Middle East buyers, DIN/EN for European buyers, BS for African market buyers. We match the supply standard to the destination market requirement — correct standard, correct documentation format, correct flange drilling pattern.
05
Complete System Supply
Pipes, fittings, and flanges supplied from a single source — all in the same MOC, to the same standard, with matching material certificates. No mismatched grades between pipe and fittings. No split documentation packages. One order, one complete delivery.
